The producer for KBS “Immortal Song 2,” Ko Min Koo, confirmed on September 16 for Infinite’s Woohyun to join the show.
He said, “Huh Gak, Shin Yong Jae, Kang Min Kyung of Davichi, Infinite’s Woohyun, and Hong Kyung Min will be added in the lineup starting next week. As for Lim Jeong Hee and Lee Seok Hoon, they’ll be joining in the following 1-2 weeks.” The show will now be a competition amongst a total of eight artists.
The producer also added, “Kang Min Kyung recently released an album through Davichi and said she’d be delighted to join despite scheduling conflicts. She already had great vocals, but we’re even more ecstatic in hearing that her vocals have matured even more.”
When asked about Infinite’s Woohyun, he said, “Infinite’s Woohyun was the member we have always wanted since before” and “He’s a charming idol who has ballad-like vocals. Even if we have anticipation for him, I don’t think we’ll be disappointed,” showing his confidence in his recruitment.
Starting on Sept. 17, Immortal Song 2 will extend their broadcasting time to a total of 100 minutes. They have set their motives of making a program that focuses on the vocals and skills of artists by extending the time.
The new lineup team for Immortal Song 2 will go into their first recording on Sept. 19.
